THE SMILE - a portrait commission with photo reference. She is adoptable, adorable, and admirable.
The warmth of her skin is still very exciting to me. She has a smile that is hard to forget. I could be with her all day, I bet she has something interesting to say.
Her face is a little flat. I keep checking the painting to see new things. I needed to bring a little more dimension into her face to make her come forward more.
