SOLITUDE - this pastel and charcoa speaks for itself. We all find ourselves alone in SOLITUDE, regardless of our circumstances. Often we grown during these times. Sometimes we do not completely come out of SOLITUDE. Posted by Hello

My wife and I went to the Bower's Museum here in California. We saw an exhibit of art by Remington & Russell. A traveling exhibition of works. The black and white works stayed with me the most. Grisaille has always stimulated me. Growing up with black and white TV, I never tire or seeing the contrast. One of my sisters had some black and white pictures she took. They left an indelible mark in my mind. Black and White is a powerful combination and sometimes disturbing. Emotionally, it moves me the most.
