BLUE ANGELS -a watercolour done for Tsunami relief. A poem accompanies the painting. The significance of this painting is the attitude of the Western world to the Eastern world's tragedy. A clash of cultures occurs. In the moment of tragedy, we build a bridge to understand, even if for a moment.

Blue Angels face EAST
Blue angels face the East
and homage they will pay,
towards their cousins so far away.
The sea has spoken with an angry voice,
Swift changes came, this fateful day.
Structures are broken,
Powerful waves crashed;
Earth's precious swept out to sea.
some rescued, some lost,
and countless souls moved, into e-ter-nity.
We now reflect, on this fateful time
and come together with solemn voice.
to reunite God's family with healing hearts
And help those that grieve, to rejoice.
the sea comes to rest,
the land is rebuilding,
its creatures return
from its test.
Solitude and peace
will once again preside
to those, that hear the plea.
May we once again live,
in reverie
