SURFER ON WATER'S EDGE - Although I have never surfed, nor do I think I ever will, I can relate to the energy and balance of this graceful sport. In and out of water's edge; the body of the surfer disappears and then magically re-appears again. I love watching these athletes work the waves. Binoculars make it fun if you can stand the intense light in your eyes. I go blind after looking for a few minutes. A camera makes it more tolerable for me to watch and capture the light. At first, it looks like there is limited color, but looking closer, you see beautiful blues and every shade imaginable surrounding these blues. The whites are prismatic and jewel-like. A hint of red to set off the greens. Watercolor for water. This is a magical combination. One thing I enjoy about my imagination; I can travel and become anyone or anything I can imagine. Here I am setting-the-waves-straight. Right!, only in my dreams. Put yourself here for a moment, you can feel the movement, I promise. Posted by Hello
