STILL LIFE WATERCOLOR - this was done for an artist forum online. I worked from a moderator's reference picture. Played green off of orange with purple shadows. I was one of the first to submit my work. I will check back to see how others approached the subject. Posted by Hello

Details make or break some pictures. Drawing and painting allows me the opportunity to put the details where I want instead of in the whole picture. It can work well to draw one's eye to the center of the subject matter. Too much detail tires me. Simply putting too many details seems to tire others as well. Just the right amount in the right area works for me. I admire artist Harley Brown for his ability to do this really well.
