CUP OF COFFEE - today I celebrated Father's Day with this cup of coffee. Freshly roasted beans from Guatamala Antigua. A reknown mountainous region where some of the finest beans are grown. Along with this cup, a beautiful poem from my daughter a lovely phone call from my other daughter, and a wonderful breakfast from my wife, I am set and surrounded by love. WHAT MAKES A DAD?
God took the strength of a mountain, the majesty of a tree
The warmth of a summer sun, the calm of a quiet sea
The generous soul of nature, the comforting arm of night
The wisdom of the ages, the power of the eagles flight
the joy of a morning in spring, the faith of a mustard seed
The patience of eternity, the depth of a family in need
Then God combined these qualities
When He knew there was nothing more to add
He knew His masterpiece was complete
and So, He called it DAD.

A good cup of tea or coffee settles the soul, excites the heart, brings liveliness to the spirit. Add good conversation, company, and thoughts, and you have contentment and momentary lifting.
