BMX RACERS - digital watercolor. A waitress in a local restaraunt proudly showed a picture of her daughter racing BMX. She beemed with joy and affection as she described a recent event; The clothing is so colorful and the action described is so dramatic. Her SHOW AND TELL time gave me inspiration for this painting. My goal was to capture the movement and drama of a race. Who can resist a good race? It seems to appeal to all of us. Finding inspiration in everyday life turns reality into imagination and back into reality again.
