What is a PAKI? (pronounced POCKEE) My oldest grandaughter gave this name to me when she just started to speak. Searching for unique identities for each of her grandparents, I ended up with PAKI. A term of endearment that has stuck for me. I am not sure what a PAKI is, but I know that PAKI loves to paint. I do not wish to compete with the camera. I wish to express using whatever media or medium I am able to use. A purist, I am not. I appreciate those that are, but enjoy mixing and bending to create a new expression. I not only search for NEW, but also push to find the essence of a statement or moment. I love people, nature, animals. These are my favorite subjects for the moment. I am constantly exploring the expression of color and shape. Relationships intrigue me the most. God's creation has a balance that I long to understand. In this understanding, I find a dimly lit subject that steadily reveals itself to me. Come experience with me, this journey.
